for a leading construction group, we are seeking to hire project manager (finishing) for one of their subsidiaries.
qualification:
•a bachelors degree in business, engineering, construction management or equivalent experience.
•experience in developing and administering construction contracts with senior management experience.
•experience in pricing, contracts law, contract drafting, administration, effective correspondence, planning and scheduling.
•knowledge of principles, practices and methods used in public agency and public works construction contracting and administration.
•comprehensive knowledge of commercial management.
•expertise in construction projects specifically buildings and residential projects.
job description:
1.to receive, prepare and release ready for commencement contract documents for bidding.
2.to confirm the contract documents and records reflects the nature of contract or tender in detail.
3.to help maintain proper archiving and document control system for on-going and closed-out contracts.
4.to receive and review the tender correspondence, minutes of meetings, general and site instructions, contract records and reports, etc.,
5.to study the contract discrepancies and recommend desired course of action to head section.
6.attend tender resolution meetings and brief the head section on proceedings and accomplishments.
7.to promote transparency in contract services and reports any suspected violations.
8.to adhere departmental confidentiality requirements in carrying out contract analysis and control functions.
9.to prepare and submit reports at regular intervals to the head of contract services on detailed information of each contract or tender process and status.

job description:
1.formally manages and acts as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives
2. assign and oversee day-to-day technical tasks on site 3. responsible for site security, health and safety, and the organization and supervision of material and human resources
4. oversee setting out (marking the position of structures and projects’ elements
5.checking drawings and quantities against actual site conditions and ensuring their accuracy
6.resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise
7.implements quality assurance procedures to ensure successful execution of all work items with the required quality
8.implement - and avoid any potential deviations to – the project’s time schedule 9.report to the projects manager/ director 10. responsible for snag list close out
11. attending regular meetings with clients, architects and consultants, and keeping them informed of progress 12.prepare progress reports with reference to the project’s time schedule
13. preparation of clients and subcontractors bills
qualifications:
•experienced in high quality finishing for architectural and interior works in medium and large scale projects • knowledge of project management and resource management practices
•authoritative character with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• ability to adapt to changing situations, make decisions and solve problems
• ability to travel (locally and internationally)
