skills required:
bachelors degree in civil engineering
5-10 years experience in the design of concrete structures, foundations and steel structures for heavy industrial plants, buildings and other projects in egypt or the middle east
member of the « egyptian syndicate of engineers » or the equivalent
experience as part of a team in a design office environment of plant structures and foundations
experience in the sizing of steel members and the preparation of site contracts and materials lists for estimating and purchase of commodities
must be familiar with international and egyptian engineering standards and codes of practice and their application to the design of heavy industrial plant and other projects in egypt or the middle east
experienced in the use of a recognized structural software and microsoft office
proficiency in english (spoken and written); knowledge of french, an asset
familiar with 2-d and 3-d drafting system, an asset
