dpk seeks an egyptian legal expert to join a usaid-funded project in egypt to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the criminal justice system. this 5-year project will work closely with the prosecutor general’s office (pgo) to assess the judiciary’s automation systems, develop pilot public defense systems, and implement related systems. the responsibilities for this full-time position includes providing technical assistance in area of expertise and managing short-term consultants as needed.
- legal expert: will work closely with the ministry of justice and the prosecutor general’s office to implement project activities. must have a law degree and a minimum of 5 years in the egyptian judicial field, preferably in the criminal justice sector.
